The Buyer has the Power

     It's true, the buyer does have the power.  A good way to think of it is; it's a lot like voting, every time you buy something you're voting for that company or rather that corporation.  When it comes to food in this country, it really matters what you're voting for.  Every time you buy that produce, meat, milk, cheese, or eggs, you're voting for pesticides, synthetics soils, radiation, genetic modified organisms, growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics and antiparasitic's plus animals fed grains instead of being put out to pasture so they can eat the grass that they're supposed to eat so that there fats are healthier with omega 3 in it and these animals are put in the worst conditions possible standing in their own feces.  The cruelty to these animals is just amazing, no if's, and's, or butts, it's all about the money, your money to be exact.
     Every time you go to the store and buy these corporate foods (food doesn't actually come from the farm anymore, it comes from a factory) you're voting for cruelty to animals,  having genetically modified organism foods  grown in synthetics soils and heavily pesticided and then radiated for  longer life on the shelf, so basically, there is very little vitamins left in them,  animals that can barely stand because they've been shot so full of growth hormones so they can produce a lot of milk.
     Here's another way to think about it;  your voting to be unhealthy, have a lot more of your hard earned money go towards insurance companies,  doctors, medical bills,  prescriptions and missed work from being sick all the time.  The government doesn't care because they tax all of this,  this is more money in their pockets from investments on the stock market of prescription drugs  and insurance companies.  Just remember, your voting for this way of life every time you buy that garbage from the  grocery store. 
     You can change this however,  you can start buying free range organic foods and then you will be voting for actual farmers, foods grown in rich soils loaded with minerals and vitamins, animals that live a much healthier and happier life on the range eating the grass they were meant to eat, and keeping more of your hard-earned money, because you won't be sick all the time needing to get prescriptions.  You won't be seeing the doctor as often or having hospital visits, just the occasional Dr. visit for a checkup.  You'll be mentally healthier as well as physically healthier and the water you drink won't be so contaminated with  pesticide runoff and  synthetic soil runoff, not to mention that they are now finding prescription drugs in our water. Let's face it, America would be a lot healthier and happier for it and maybe the money would spread around to more people instead of just a few corporate CEO's, it's called spreading the wealth.
      Please, stop polluting our planet, let's go back to healthier ways of eating and living.  I want to live in the Garden of Eden, not in the muck and mire of corporate filth.  So it comes down to this one question; what are you voting for?

Food, The Deceitful Web

     I once asked a person how was their diet and the response to me was I eat good, my reaction to that was the question; really, you actually go to another country to eat?  Even if you're trying to eat good in this country you actually aren't.  The problem with the food in this country is that it is genetically modified, grown in synthetics soils, loaded with pesticides, are picked before they're ripe and sit around for days before they're even sold to you.  I'm amazed if there's any nutrients left in these foods.
     Unless you're eating all organic foods and free range meats, you really aren't eating good at all. To get a better understanding of what I'm talking about,  I advise watching the movie  Food Inc.  you'll be shocked at what your supporting with every little bit you buy. The food you see in the store  doesn't come from farms anymore, they actually come from huge manufacturing factories owned by huge corporations  that control the whole foods market.   They really don't care if the foods healthy for you at all,  all they care about is how much money they can make.   Even if you're eating all whole foods,  nothing premade, precooked, or pre-packaged,  it won't matter due to the fact that there's not much nutrients left in these foods.
     There is a way to fight the Goliaths, and that's stop buying their foods and buy organic  and free range foods from real farmers while there still some left.  Organic vegetables and fruits and free range meats are much higher in nutrients so they are much healthier for you, buy these foods instead.
     I hear all time "but they're too expensive", really, do you have any idea how much it cost for radiation and chemotherapy, not  to mention the misery you will have to go through  and even if you do recover, you eventually  get the cancer again and have less chance of surviving, usually within about five years.   Just think of all that money you saved when you're having that heart attack, at least you will have money for the funeral. I assure you, not buying organic foods  and free range meats  is way more expensive when it comes to how sick you will become.  I'd rather be poor and healthy  than deathly sick and rich.
     So, if you're living here in America eating the foods grown in this country, you best be having some good life insurance and medical insurance  because,  you're going to need it. Even if you're eating  organic foods and free range meats, the acid rain falls on the good and bad alike, it's best you add a good multivitamin from a health food store, just to be on the safe side.   It would also be a good idea to go through a  full body detox  once every year  just to get the toxins out,because we live in a very polluted world, everywhere you turn  there's  chemicals.

The Dangers of Eating Grains

     I'm going to discuss something today that goes against a lot of what's being said out there by your doctor.  Way too often doctors will tell their patients, when there cholesterol starts going up, to cut out their saturated fat and cholesterol and start eating more grains.  I'm here to tell you that's a very bad idea, due to the fact that grains is one of the most acidic foods you can put into your body.  Why don't we want acidic food in our body?  Because anything too acidic will wreak havoc in our body, this is due to the fact that there are way too many positive ions and not enough negative ions in grains.  The reason this is unhealthy is due to the fact that positive ions will close down your ion channels in the mitochondria of your cell, when that happens, nutrients and oxygen are unable to get into the cell and be utilized, this is where the body starts to malfunction.  Not getting enough oxygen to your cells can cause cancer, yeah that's right, you doctors are actually telling you eat more things that cause cancer.
     Let's look at the reality of what's happening in America today,  people are eating more grains,  yet in spite of that,  cancer is up, heart attacks are still high, (actually higher than it has been in the last hundred years) diabetes is rampant,  and obesity is an epidemic.
     Here's something else you might find disturbing, the selling of pharmaceuticals is up and the pharmaceutical companies are making more money now than they ever have. Most people are on two medications or more. One things for sure, getting people to eat grains sure has been good for the pharmaceutical companies.
     Long time ago I was in my 30s and my diet consisted mostly of meat and vegetables,  I also ate some fruits, however,  I didn't care for breads and pasta,  they were too bland for my taste buds.  Even though I was in excellent health,  my doctor and the health gurus of the day said that I should cut out my saturate fat and cholesterol because I wasn't getting any younger. They went on to say; if I didn't cut out my saturated fat and cholesterol,  I would end up having arterial sclerosis  and would either have a heart attack or stroke and die.  I listen to them and took it to heart so, I cut out all my saturated fat and cholesterol and increased eating grains tenfold so I could stay healthy.   What actually happened next is what I hear from a lot of people who've done the same thing,  and that's  my cholesterol went up to 360 and my blood pressure went through the roof. I ended up with chronic fatigue, gained 60 pounds in two months,  I started getting colds and flues about 3 to 4 times a year  that would last 2 to 3 weeks at a time.  I became very depressed  and felt absolutely miserable.   I was fallowing everything I was told to do and I was exercising heavily, in spite of all that I was dying.
     I started thinking about how I was before, when I was actually eating the very things they told me not to eat and how healthy I felt at the time. I came to the conclusion that something's just not right here, so I started reading books on physiology and studied them heavily, only to find out most of what I was told was the opposite of what the physiology books taught.  Your brain is made up of saturated fat and cholesterol, your mylin sheaths  that's around every nerve in your body are made up of saturated fat and cholesterol, there is a layer of saturated fat and cholesterol underneath your skin which the sun hits and converts into vitamin D, which helps absorb calcium into your bone matrix that is made up of saturated fact cholesterol and protein. Every connective tissue in your body, which is trillions of cells, are made up of saturated fat and cholesterol, and your hormones, which basically run your whole body, are made up of cholesterol, cholesterol, and only cholesterol,  so cutting it out of your diet just didn't seem like a good idea for me.
     I started doing the opposite what the doctors told me,  I cut out all grains and sugar out of my diet and increased my saturated fat and cholesterol tenfold.   I started to feel better and I had my  blood pressure tested, it had come down to normal within about 3 to 4 months, and instead of doing drugs to get it down I was taking certain supplements. I told my doctor what I was doing and he was convinced my cholesterol would be through the roof and that I was going to die, so I made him a bet. If my cholesterol was high, I would go back to eating grains and cutting out my saturated fat and cholesterol however,  if my cholesterol and blood pressure were low, then he has to stop telling people to eat grains and cutting out there saturated fat and cholesterol.   he tested my cholesterol and my blood pressure, which ended up being 120 over 80, but we had to wait for the results of the cholesterol test.   He had the results two weeks later  and was shocked to find that: my cholesterol was only 120, and I needed to bring it up.  I told him that I wasn't surprised at all for the simple fact that eating cholesterol does not make your cholesterol go up because of the many uses the body has for it, however,  eating too much grains releases  lots of sugar into your bloodstream which the body cannot utilize  and gets stored as fat  and also gets converted in your liver into, you guessed it, cholesterol. 
     If your cholesterol is up along with your blood pressure because, you cut out all your saturated fat and cholesterol and started eating more grains, don't let your doctor convince you that it's hereditary because that's just a line of bull.  The only thing hereditary about it is the diet.
       All this saturated fat and cholesterol nonsense about cutting it out of your diet, just doesn't add up to hard science.  So, before you go taking those deadly drugs that destroy your liver, maybe you should first start cutting out all the grains and sugars from your diet and introduce free range meats  and organic vegetables and fruits, you just might be glad you did.

Illegal Immigrant Children Complain About American Food

     You probably heard of the immigrant children coming across our border from the South, these children were fed our flour tortillas and they didn't like the taste of them because they preferred their corn tortillas, probably made from masa (a flour made from hard Indian corn that's not genetically modified).  I would like to warn those children it only gets worse, because, we have the worst genetically modified garbage food on the planet that it greatly lacks flavor and has such a bland taste that we have to eat tons of it to feel satisfied.
     I'm sure things are horrible in their countries where they came from,  but up here we have a whole new set of problems and it's called diabetes, cancer, heart attacks and obesity, it's kind of like out of the frying pan into the fire.
     I'm quite curious to find out how their health was when they entered this country, seeing how they're not actually from Mexico, but from countries below Mexico. How did they travel all that way without being detected and who is helping them?  Were they starving when they entered this country?  I also wonder how long will they stay here and what we're going to do with them? What's mostly on my mind is;  if they were healthy when they got here, how long will it take, eating our garbage foods, before they start to gain weight, show signs of sickness, and start needing our medical  attention, another words, being highly medicated by our glorified drug dealers, the American doctors.  Of course we will all be flipping the bill so,  it actually might be cheaper if we have food sent up from their countries to feed them. 
     So, seeing how we don't known what to do with these children and they will probably be here for quite some time, maybe it's best to have food shipped from their indigenous countries so they can eat healthier and complain a lot less, plus save ourselves some money in the long run.
     These children's parents should rethink this whole thing, maybe, just maybe, they would be better off staying in their own country and do their best to try to change the politics  that suppresses them  instead of running away  because,  as I've shown, it may not be  necessarily better for their children to live here in the US but, maybe, just maybe, if they were taught to stand up for themselves and take pride in who they are, they could change their own country to be a better place to live.   If they do this, their foods will definitely be better than ours as long as they don't follow in our footsteps  and keep to their traditional ways.

Losing Weight for Summer

     If you're one of those who are trying to lose weight for summer, I have some helpful tips.
      First and foremost it matters what you eat.   If you're one of those who like the carbs and sugar,  you're going to have a very hard time losing weight.   The reason why is because sugar stimulates the same neurotransmitter in your brain as does heroin, it is extremely addicting. The best way to start for you is first break your addiction of sugar and then you can move on to losing weight.
     Let's start with what you drink,  if it's soda pop,  sugar-free or not, you will find it very hard to lose weight, you must first break this addiction and a good way to do that is; water with flavoring in it, such as Emergen-C.  Emergen-C are these different flavored packets you pour into water to flavor it, and they're filled with electrolytes and vitamin C.
       Next, we will work on your addictions to sugar and carbs.  In order to break this addiction  or any addiction for that matter, it is good to take an amino acid called  GABA ( gamma amino butyric acid) because this one is a neurotransmitter blocker which helps keep certain neurotransmitters from over firing and causing anxiety. This will help calm you down  to make it little easier to deal with the withdrawals. Next, eating certain saturated fats such as coconut oil, will help reduce the cravings of sugar and carbs.  Stick to eating meats vegetables and fruits  and get them free range and organic if possible because,  organic whole foods don't do much to add to weight gain.  When eating vegetables stick to the  dark greens, these have less sugars than other vegetables such as corn which is mostly starch.  When it comes to fruits  start with grapefruit not oranges, because oranges are too high in sugar and grapefruit actually helps reduce fat, then you can add  the berry groups of fruits such as strawberries, blackberries,  blueberries,  and raspberries.
    When it comes to meats, contrary to what you've read or heard,  cutting out the fat is a bad idea.   Protein and fat metabolize a lot slower than sugars and carbs do, and since everything turns into  sugar in your body, it all comes down to; how fast does it metabolize? If you're worried about your cholesterol going up, keep in mind that sugar is converted in your liver to cholesterol and causes a greater threat of raising your cholesterol than eating animal fats, in fact cholesterol could actually be reduced when eating animal fats that are cooked right. I myself lowered my cholesterol from 360 down to 120 increasing my diet in animal fats that were free range and organic without the use of drugs.
     For those who  are thinking of taking a thermogenic to speed up the process, keep in mind how thermogenic's work. They work by shocking your adrenal glands and speeding up your heart rate, when your heart is sped up it needs more oxygen.  Exercising speeds up your heart rate too, however,  you are also breathing harder, faster  and getting more oxygen to your heart, but when you take a thermogenic and it speeds up your heart rate, you are not breathing as fast so your heart doesn't get as much oxygen, in this way, it can be harmful to your heart. There is a way around it and that's take CoQ10 ( coenzyme ubiquinone 10). 100 mg a day of CoQ10 can increase  the oxygen to your heart, keeping enough oxygen in your heart to prevent any damage to it.
     There are non-thermogenic supplements that help too such as CLA (conjugated  linolenic  acid) and the amino acid l-carnitine ( l-carnitine is not a true amino acid however it is usually found with the amino acids) which emulsifies fat  and carries long chain fatty acids to your cells and burns them as energy, it also helps strengthen your heart. You need to do at least 2000 mg of l-carnitine  and 4000 mg of CLA in order for them to actually reduce your fat stores.   All these products can be found at your local GNC.
       Biomats are another way to lose weight, by sleeping on these at night, turned up to the third or fourth light, you can burn the fat off while you sleep  and it can be done in conjunction with the other weight loss supplements. 
      Just remember one thing, it starts first with eliminating sugars and carbs out of your diet, and then eating a healthy whole food diet using free range meats and organic foods that are not premade, precooked or pre-done in any way.

Happy Healthy Fathers Day

     Today's the day we celebrate those wonderful dads.  They work hard for us, make sure we have food on the table, help us with our problems, and point us to the future.  Now it's time to do something back for those wonderful dads.
     Just to be different,  show him how much you really love  him and go down to a GNC  and get him a $50-$100 gift card.   The gift of health is the best gift you can give, it tells them how much you really love them and that you want them to be around  to watch their grandkids grow up.   And  another thing you could do is get him some free range stakes so he can cook them up on the grill.
     We need to start eating better in this country,  and that means eating free range meats, organic vegetables and fruits and no premade , precooked,  defangled foods.  This does two things and they are:  give us healthier and happier lives,  and reduce the poisoning of this planet.    This is the only planet we live on and if we kill the planet we kill ourselves.    We can't keep pumping chemicals into  the earth, every time you eat foods that aren't free range and organic your supporting  chemicals  and the polluting of this earth  because,  so many of your processed meets  have chemicals in them, not to mention  the cows raised commercially are shot up with all kinds chemicals, and the foods they  eat are grown in chemical soils and have pesticide chemicals sprayed all over them,  and all your package meets have chemicals to keep them from spoiling.   Chemicals, chemicals, and more chemicals, every time you turn around, there are more chemicals being dumped into this planet.
     For you fathers out there,  what kind of planet are you leaving for your children? Eating healthy
is a good way to stay healthy,  and if you're more healthy, there won't be a need to see a doctor to get more prescriptions for polluting drugs.  There are so many people taking drugs right now that when they urinate,  the drugs in their urine go into a sewer plant and go through a processing, and up in our drinking water (heard about this on the nightly news). I don't know about you but, I don't want to drink other people's drugs in my drinking water, thank you. 
     So again for Father's Day get something healthy and less polluting and enjoy a wonderful Father's Day .

Doctors Speak Out About so Called Health Care!

       For those who have read my blogs, you've heard me thrash our health care system here in the United States, but if you think I stand alone, think again.
      There is a free book you can read here on the Internet called the Code of Life written by  an MD, it's a must read for anybody who wants to wake up and find out what our health care system is really about.
     I've called our health care system a cookie-cutter health care system  because  there's so little thinking involved when dealing with doctors and your physical needs.  As I have said before, doctors could definitely be replaced with machines and you would get the same cold  health care that you're getting now at a much, much, better price.  More and more doctors are getting fed up with the system and are speaking out against it.    The following are a few quotes by doctors and other intelligent people;

      Alternative medicine isn't alternative at all, it is part of the natural physical world we live in so, it is of the norm and should be the mainstream.
