Xeljanz Versus Biomats

For those of you who are tempted to take a drug for rheumatoid arthritis such as Xeljanz, you should be advised as to what the side effects are. This drug is a Janus Kinase inhibitor, but the question is; does it also block parts of your immune system like the other rheumatoid drugs seem to?  All drugs have side effects, it's just a matter of how bad are they, and are they worth the pain they are supposed to stop?
Here's a list of the side effects found at drugs.com for the drug Xeljanz and they are: bladder pain, bloody or cloudy urine, blurred vision, body aches or pain, chills, cough, difficult burning or painful urination,  difficulty breathing, dizziness, ear congestion, fever, frequent urge to urinate, headache, loss of voice, lower back or side pain, muscle aches, nervousness, pounding in the ears, slow or fast heartbeat, sneezing, sore throat, stuffy or runny nose, unusual tiredness or weakness,  bloating or swelling of the face arms hands lower legs or feet, confusion, dark urine, decreased urination, difficult or labored breathing, dry mouth, fainting, increase in heart rate, light-colored stools, lightheadedness,  nausea and vomiting,  pale skin, rapid breathing, rapid weight gain, shortness of breath, sunken eyes, thirst, tightness in the chest, tingling of the hands or feet, trouble breathing with exertion, unusual bleeding or bruising, unusual weight gain or loss,  upper right abdominal or stomach pain, wrinkled skin, diarrhea, headaches, acid or sour stomach, belching, burning feeling in the chest or stomach, burning crawling itching numbness tickling pins and needles or tingling feelings,  difficulty with moving, flushing or redness of the skin, heartburn, indigestion, itching skin, muscle pain or stiffness, pain in the joints, rash, stomach discomfort upset or pain, tenderness in the stomach area, trouble sleeping, unusually warm skin.
The most common serious adverse reactions were serious infections.    Up to 10% will get hypertension.    Up to 10% will get diarrhea.
. Up to 10% will get AST elevation and ALT elevation. 10% or more up to 22%  will get serious infections like pneumonia, cellulitis, herpes zoster and urinary tract infections.  The worst side effects of all are; lung cancer,  breast cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer,  renal cell cancer, prostate cancer, lymphoma, malignant  melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancer. Some of the respiratory problems are: nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infection, dyspnea, cough, sinus congestion,  and tuberculosis.
Let's face the facts shall we, anytime a drug can give you serious side effects such as cancer or respiratory infections  that can lead to death,  it's a drug not worth taking.  I like to call this pharmaceutical roulette. Don't play pharmaceutical roulette and get yourself a Biomat, because there's nothing that feels better for rheumatoid arthritis during wintertime than a Biomat,  which will heat your very bones and joints up.

Biomat versus Enbrel

For those of you out there who have read my blogs, you should already know that I have rheumatoid arthritis.  With the use of the Biomat and methyl sulfinyl methane (an organic sulfur found in health food stores) I no longer suffer from rheumatoid arthritis pain.
You've probably seen the commercials on TV for Enbrel.  Enbrel is supposed to help with rheumatoid arthritis pain, however, there is a trade-off of possible extra effects of this drug, and here's a list of a few; chills, cough, fever, sneezing, sore throat, congestion in the chest, depression, fast heartbeat, frequent or painful urination, itching, pain, redness, or swelling on the skin, joint or muscle stiffness, tightness, or rigidity, shortness of breath, stomach discomfort or pain, bladder paying, blistering, peeling, or loosening of the skin, bloody black or tarry stools, blue yellow color blindness, blurred vision, chest discomfort or pain, cloudier bloody urine, confusions, convulsions, darkened urine, decreased urine output, decreased vision, diarrhea, difficult to regular troubled or labored breathing, difficulty with moving, dilated veins, double vision, extreme fatigue, eye pain, feeling sad or empty, fruit like breath odor, general feeling of discomfort, illness, or weakness, generalized pain, heartburn or indigestion, high blood pressure, inability to move the arms legs or facial muscles, irregular heartbeat, Joint or muscle pain, large hive like swelling on the face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, or sex organs, lightheadedness, loss of consciousness, muscle tenderness, pain or discomfort in the arms, jaw, back, or neck, pain redness or swelling in the arm or leg, problems with bowel and or bladder function, red skin lesions, often with the purple center, red scaling or crusted skin, severe and continuing nausea, severe numbness, especially on one side of the face or body, sore throat, sores ulcers or white spots on the lips or in the mouth, swelling of the face fingers feet or lower legs, tenderness, tightness in the chest, trouble concentrating, trouble sleeping, unexplained weight loss, unusual bleeding or bruising, unusual tiredness or weakness, vomiting of blood or material that looks like coffee grounds, weight loss, wheezing, yellow eyes or skin.
Enbrel seems to cause some serious  lung ailments,  immunologic side effects have included serious infections and sepsis,  including fatalities. Post marketing  immunologic side effects  have included macrophage activation syndromes,  systemic vasculitis ,and sarcoidosis.
Taking Enbrel may lower your immune system  allowing for all kinds of long ailments  such as tuberculosis.
Reading about the side-effects of Enbrel  I found that some people had died from taking this drug due to some serious lung infections.
If you're one of the many people with rheumatoid arthritis taking this drug,  you risk the chance of getting a serious lung infection  and actually dying from it.
Please,  stop playing pharmaceutical roulette  and get yourself a Biomat. Call me at 765-520-2988.
